O.K, despite of being a total dick head and/or ass hole I would like to apologize to you guys and hopefully you open your hearts to a poor teen who just wants to be driving his Yota again.

Here's the problem. I would put antifreeze in and it would leak out near the bottom of the intake. It took me an hour or so to figure out that the hose on the bottom of the intake that goes to the heater core was leaking because it has no gasket (if it is supposed to have one). Now, I bought an intake gasket kit and was told that gasket came with it...nope...it does not fit. So, what do I do? Can I use rtv or a sealant to make it stop leaking?

Is it a hose or a pipe? I am confused about a gasket on a hose. Is it leaking at the water pump or at the rear of the engine? At the water pump, there is an o ring on the pipe, as I remember, and a gasket that is part of the timing cover gasket.

There are some small hoses that connect under the intake manifold, they are for the temp sensor. One to the throttle body and one at the rear. They are hard to see from the top.

RTV should work on metal to metal connections. Make sure the surfaces are dry.
