install torsion bars? i know i will prolly get asked why will i not do this myself..but, i dont really have the tools or the know how to tackle this one. anyone have them do it before?

 

Go to a local shop, they will be cheaper than a dealership.

 

To answer the original question, yes they can. Good luck getting them to warranty anything aftermarket if that's what you mean.

Go with an independant shop.

 

it is a very easy job to do yourself, 3 hours max if all goes well. whatever you do, ORDER NEW ADJUSTER BOLTS AND NUTS BEFORE YOU START, i broke one of mine and had to wait 3 days to get new ones.

 

Are you sure?
It only takes some hand tools and multipurpose grease to do the job. It would be easier with an air impact wrench for the adjuster bolt, but it's not necessary. I've done it a few times myself, no air tools here, just my arm gets tired.

yeah, i have..but i cant really follow it..maybe im just an idiot or something..in the back of my mind though, i have a feeling i will mess up some how and my parents will go "told you so"

 

I've got some stuff on my website here .
It's from a 2wd, but they should be very similar.
Truthfully, the hardest part about it is the physical putting it back in because of the alignment of the notch in the splines.
The other thing I did on my tbars was shaving a spline. You shouldn't have to do that though.
