Does anyone know if this will work? Swapping in an alternator from 84 22r to my 86 22re?
Mine is starting to squeal at start up, and I'm thinking bearings after some reading. It's my daily driver so if the 84 works 'till I can have the 86 remanned t'would be sweet.

 

im pretty sure the plugs are different on the 84 and 86

 

I definitely need to replace it. You reaffirmed my suspicion. Gotta get it done before being stranded. Wipers extremely slow the nothing driving home.
