I am selling so my wife can get a xtra automatic vehicle to drive.

it is 85 xtra cab short bed small dent in drivers door
motor has 8k miles truch has 169k
new radiator-brakes-windsheild
new 3 in body lift- 2 inch shackles
it had 2 small rust spots on pass rear fender. I have fiberglassed them
fixna order black steel wheels and put on 33 inch ss truxus radials.
no leaks
a 2 year old could turn the knob on the hubs.

What would be a good selling price?

we just had our third child and the Camry is the only thing we can carry all the kids in.
so if I take the kids somewhere I go in the camry. And If my wife needs to go somewhere she needs a automatic to drive.

I fought it for months but It was either give in or get out.

Please tell us that you are going to get another toyota? This sounds like a good excuse to upgrade to a tacoma or something (esp because most of the auto's before that were kinda poopy)

No matter what happens, she really should learn how to drive a stick, esp it you guys ever go anywhere remote in your truck, what happens if something happens to you (broken ankle, leg, back) and you need to go to the hospital, but your out of cell phone range or something, she wouldn't be able to drive you anywhere, kind of a safety concern


If you really don't want to sell it, then put it up for $7k, and after it wont sell, just tell the wife that she'll just have to deal with it

You should be able to get about 3500 dollars for it.

I don't know what they go for over there but out west I could see getting $4500 for it based on the rest of the truck being as good as the body.

You might find a 86-88 that clean if ou were lucky with 200k miles for around 3k.
then u put a new motor in it and a solid front axle swap. and how much would you have tied up in it then?
