I have one, but it has been a while since I've seen another one around here. They are around though. The two door is the same size and wheel base as the 4 door just minus the extra doors. Mine has the 3.0 and unfortunately the auto.

WheelinNoob has a 93 two door. 3vze 5sp. I always thought the 2 doors looked cleaner then the 4 door runners.

It seems like the 2 door would make it hard to get to the cargo space. and back seats if there are any.

There are back seats. It like a 1st gen but without a removable top.

kinda defeats the purpose of the back seat when they are so hard to get to

It seems like every thread relating to the 2nd gen 2door breaks down to bashing it for being hard to get to the back seats. The 2door is basically a pu w/ a permanent topper. The 1st gen is basically a pu w/ a removable topper. OBVIOUSLY the 4door is easier to get to the back seats. The two extra doors make this possible. If you have to haul the kids to soccer practice twice a week then the 4 door is for you. Honestly, my back seats of my 2door are folded down 95% of the time, but when I do have passengers there is plenty of room for two adults or even three if you cuddle. I love the uniqueness of my 2door and theres no way I'd ever trade if for a 4door of the same year/options.

rock on with the 2 door!! i agree with polander the 2 door runners are more like a TUV ( truck utility vehicle ) rather than SUV. so far in person the only 2 door ive seen in real life is the one in my avatar. i think this sums it up 2 door = enthusiest 4 door = family

Both the Gen 1 and the Gen 2 (tudor) (and later ExtCab, as well) have the passenger seat that automatically slides forward when the back is released. That, and the rear controls for the seat and door, make it a cakewalk to mount and dismount. Of course, Shotgun has gotta to get his butt outta the seat!

Love Them!!!

This is the one I just picked up. 166,xxx miles. V6 5spd. Had an 88...and the backseats were a pain to get to also. Does not bother me.

Post up pics...

Anyone with an aftermarket bumper that allows you to keep the swing out tire carrier??
