3 joint driveshaft?

Well my 1997 Tacoma has 3 U-joints in my rear driveshaft... Yet all the auto parts stores say it only has 2. Which is it???

Thanks soo much,

Paul

The rear section has 3 ujoints, one at the end where it meets the differential and two in the CV joint where it connects to the front section and the center support bearing. If you need it rebuilt, take it to a driveline specialist, ordinary repair shops aren't going to straighten and balance after they rebuild it. Some auto shops won't even touch the front CV ujoints either.

I just had mine rebuilt yesterday actually.
