Fitting 305/70-16 on stocker T100

Hi All,I have a stock 98 T100.I would like to try out a set of 305/70-16 Pro Comp X-terrains on my stock wheels.Tires are from my FZJ80(good tread left,a little cupped)Went to 35's on that truck.Would these tires be ok for DD & mostly street use.Front clearance is pretty tight. No lift on truck just have bilstien shocks&currently running 275/70-16 BFG AT's.Need new tires soon, but these can make it through the winter.Just have a nail in one of the side walls that can not be plugged(slow leak)
Thanks,John

To wide unless the LC rims stickout a bit further and then its a stretch.. T100's will take 32x11.5 stock, a 305/70/16 is like 33x12.5.. almost..

I ran that size on my truck for a while. You have to crank the t bars way up, and even then, the fronts will still rub.. It is doable. No problems on the rears.
