Front And Rear Bumpers Built *pics*

Here they are. The tube is 2 inch 120 wall tube pipe (two twenty foot sticks) and the front skid plate is 1/8 inch steal it took us all of eighteel hours and two days to build both thanks to the CSU (Colorado state University) Engines Lab. They are both bolt on and my roomate 89PICKUP/TACOMA did the fabrication I helped the best I could lol so a big thanks to him!!! I hope you all like.... And i will be puttin in wheel spacers to give it a wider stance due to the wide bumpers. Enjoy!!

The loock before with the bumpers off

Cuttin the pipe with the ban saw. This thing made it so much easier!!! lol

Tackin up the front

The man with the master mind lol

The front all tacked up

How we did the rear mounts

The rear all tacked up

Waiting at home the second morning... got bored and thought it looked big nexted to my roommates 4runner lol

And the final products...

Let me know what ya all think

they looks good, but the side wings on the rear bumper need something inside them. Whether it be another piece of tubing like this \ or /, /\, or \/

that sounds like a good idea. as long as you do something with that huge gap in the side.

I agree it does need something there, and if you can make that work then Other than that it looks sick!

The bender I used is from harbor freight. It was just a hydraulic jack bender.

Did you use the "fill with sand and cap the ends" technique? Nice bends for a pipe bender...

I think you need to put a few strategically placed holes or something cleaver cut in the skid plate/brush guard thing on the front for air to flow to keep things cool as for the rear diamond plate painted/powder coated black would look sick

im surprised that being in a climate with snow you would choose to run an open style front bumper.Reason why i say this is just the amounts of snow I see here then add some freezing temps, and you could be getting alot of snow and ice build up in unwanted areas.

ya i'll get some filler plate in. and for the open bumper part i just really like the style of a open bumper more and i dont think the ice build up will be a issue cause i was runnin with no bumper for two months lol
