Feeler for interest on a 1991 4Runner with a bad 3.0... but has SAS, manual tranny, 33" BFG, nice wheels. Engine blew head gasket and has a few bad cylinders. Cant decide if we should part it out or sell as a whole... let me know. thanks.

Damn, that is a really nice truck! Why don't you just fix it? You've obviously put money and work into it. How much can the repairs cost?

Its my brothers truck... theyve been quoted around $7000 to replace the engine at this point... since a toyota mechanic took it apart to find out what is wrong, he cant take it anywhere else to fix it because nobody will work on it now....

hell for $7000, I'll put TWO engines,(even 3.4's) in it for you, bring it to me...

Or I'll just say, okay that truck is worth....$7500, but it needs $7000 worth of work.... lol. I'll give you $800 for it and be doing you a favor.

That's what I'm sayin! There's no way that can be right. Tow it somewhere else and find someone to do it.

I'll buy the the front axle and lift from you and the third members if they have lockers. I also would buy the front bumper. Is the truck still in Houston? If you don't part it out how much for the hole thing.

I hope he isnt paying 7G's to do it, if he is spending that much, pack that thing in take it home, and get a reputeable shop (NOT the Stealership) to do a 3.4 swap on it, and STILL come out for less than 7G's.
