Exclamation Do Not Ever Order From These People!!!

Ok, some of you may have read the thread that goes with this rant.
A week ago, my Fan Idler Pully (Fake Water Pump) went out. So I went shopping around, had some help from the fellas on this site, and ordered one off of E-Bay through...Car Parts WHole Sale....which is I guess apart of Fulfillment Warehouse ( name on my invoice ).
They are in Carson, CA
Anyway, when I open my UNDAMAGED box, my part is in two pieces!!!!! SO I call them up...wait a half hour on hold, then talk to and Indian, (true cause she told me) and am told I need to send a picture to their E-Mail address so they can look at the damage, then give me my money back.
So I ask these people if I need to send the item back now and they tell me..."Probably not, they break and we don't want them back". CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BE DUMB AND TRY AND SAVE A BUCK LKE I DID AND GO THROUGH THIS. A BIG WASTE OF TIME AND HEARTACHE.
Here is the site, so you know what to look for and don't go through this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FAN-I...QQcmdZViewItem

Here is a picture of it straight out of the box.
I had to cut the picture so it would go on the page. But you know what you are looking at. The little bottom part of the picture is what what rolling around in the box. And no, the box was in good shape, no dents, no rips, no damage to the box at all...this came from these crazy scam artists.

yeah cheap ebay parts are usually things you should stay away from. ebay is great as long as you dont buy no name/ebay only brands. and that really sucks that you got screwed by them.

They don't want ot back because they break all the time. LOL, what a company. You need to report them to Ebay and make sure you give them proper feedback.

You should gave them a red feed back, or did you gave them a green feed back? They have 121 red feed back this month. Always read the red feed back first. It will tell you if they do good business or not.

So you bought something and it arrived broken, you called customer service and got a refund? Doesnt really sound all that much like a scam. Im sure its frustrating and buying anything from e-bay makes me nervous but as long as you get your money back lesson learned. Im pretty sure I ordered tail light lenses from these guys got them in less than a week and had no problems with them. Ive been looking at too good to be true prices for ball joints tie rod ends etc on e-bay and was warned off by people on YT who are smarter than I lol. Look on the bright side you dont even have to bother with returning it.

Yeah IF you do get a refund a neutral would be the worst I'd give them. I got a 5VZFE fan bracket from a seller named Sandman on ebay, so far so good.

I got the front end rebuild kit from arm_can and so far it has been great. No problems at all and I've actually been taking the truck offroad too.

All discount sellers on ebay aren't crooks. arm_can has over 9000 feedbacks and is at 100% positive.

told ya not to buy that cheap aftermarket junk! And told ya that cheap pot metal would break!

I figured it would last longer than that tho hah.

Help for the future: buy a factory one, or buy a factory used one. OR, if you still haven't learned your lesson and you insist on saving a few bucks, buy one thats made of cast aluminum like the factory one is.

Wow thats not good. I remember reading our original post and to be honest I would have bought it from them too. they were alot cheaper than what Toyota quoted you for. So did you get one from toyota or the salvage yard?

are they going to give you a full refund, including the shipping cost?

if so, I really think that you would have no reason to give them a negative feedback, now if they refused to give you a refund, or if they refused to replace it, that is a whole other story, did you get insurance on the shipping? some sellers consider themselves at the end of thier liability when they send it out, if you didn't get insurance (i.e. if it breaks during shippent, they aren't liable and the shipping company is, that is the reason for purchasing shipping insurance)

yeah, they may be peddling crap on ebay, but at least they are giving you a refund, and not a runaround, most places would ask that you return it to them, and then only refund the purchase price and not the original or return shipping costs

did you expect this thing to be the same quality (part and service) that you would have recieved from a Toyota dealership? If you did, then you are sadly mistaken, it seems that you always get what you pay for in life
