FYI: Sweet deal on Bridgestone Revos

Just an FYI that the TiresPlus had Bridgestone Dueler Revos on sale now and I just got a set installed yesterday. I got 265/75R/16 put on and they were $152 per tire (Denver Metro area). After taxes and all the BS fees, and after talking him down on the road hazard, I got out of there for ~$757 total installed with road hazard coverage and taxes.

Just wanted to throw it out there if anyone was looking for a sale on these. So far they are sweet and quiet on my 4Runner.

Peace,
Chris

TireRack.com sells them for $177 each plus $110~ more for shipping and another $50 for road hazard. Thats $868 alone. Add cost for mounting/balancing and your easily over $900

I got a set of 265/70/17's last year for $750 @ Disc. Tire (w/o any coupons or sale prices). 16's were a lot cheaper. I haven't checked lately, but either Disc. Tire or Firestone should be able to beat or at least match that price.

I think they are D rating, but to be honest I'm not sure. I priced them everywhere I could find, and it seemed a pretty good deal to me. I was going to go with Kuhmo or some of the other less expensive ones being discussed on here, but the deal was good enough for me to go ahead with them.

Discount Tire here in Denver did not carry them, and I didn't feel like ordering them and waiting. I would recommend them. I had some Pathfinder somethings on there from Discount last, and these are way better than those.

The Pathfinder SUV tire that came with mine were ok in dry but poor in wet conditions. I agreee the Revos are a much better tire.

Just a quick FYI, ROTATE THOSE SOB'S ON TIME... I had a set on my old Z71 and they wore like HELL... and I am pretty anal about pressure and rotation.
