When driving is the speed off? In my 92 that I just put a diesel motor into the diesel speedo went to 160km/h and my gas one went to 180. I put the gas one in and it works just fine. It still moves around at the same speed its just one went higher than the other.

easy would be to replace the guage readout panel.

that, or pull and reposition your needle.
its a mechanical thing, im sure w/the right color crayon, you can get it right.

Yes you could change the panel. Never though of that. I think there is just 4 screws holding it on. Might be an easy fix.
