1997 4Runner Ltd - SC'd & 4x4

I'm about 95% ready to upgrade to a new vehicle in pursuit of more luxury. What I'd be selling is a '97 4Runner Ltd, 4x4 w/115k miles on it. I've owned it for about 6.5yrs and since about 45k miles. It's the two-tone champagne w/silver fender flairs and lower valence.
  • Running boards deleted and left behind in Chicago.
  • TRD 2nd gen SuperCharger installed @ about 80k miles - worked flawlessly since. Plugs & wires done at that time.
  • Full timing belt & rollers, water pump service at 98k miles including all drive & v-belts (SC drive belt too).
  • Tranny flushed at 55kmiles - it's due again.
  • Both o2 sensors replaced at 65k miles.
  • V8 Tundra front brakes added about 95k miles.
  • Rear e-locker over-ride for use in High gear (whoopie do...)
  • Electronic brake controller & wired for 7-pin (including 30amps to extra lead for on-board trailer lights)
  • Air-shocks in the back from Gabriel/Napa
  • 265/70-16 Nokian WR's with about 15% left in them
  • Tan/oak leather interior
  • Stock stereo/cd/head-unit.

So folks it's basically a stock truck with all the enhancements centered around towing back when I raced rally. She'll easily pull, support and stop a tandem-axel car trailer loaded down. In current trim gets around 21mpg on the highway, 16 in town, and 14 when towing. It's a dead-reliable machine that has been pretty cheap to own - just lacks the level of luxury I'd like in my life now.

What it needs:
1. Time to replace the tires. WR's are just now down to the first wear-bars. You could put another 15k miles on them to bald - but it's time to replace.
2. I think it's time for front bushing/damper service based on miles. Truck tracks straight and true with no squeaks/rattles - but if she stays in inventory I'll be doing Bilsteins.
3. A little bit of parking rash on the fender flairs and lower valences as befits a truck of this age. My plan was to start the conversion to more off-roadiness by re-doing these in a bed-liner like material.

Truck is located in Houston, TX - has lived otherwise in IL since I owned it. Always garaged and really only driven when headed on long trips with my dog or towing.

Looking for $8k, trade-in is $7'ish high-side on any vehicle I'm considering. Paint's in good condition. Never been farther off road than a graded two-track.

UPDATE: Truck is in need of a washing, I'll do that Sat and then post pics. Definitely willing to hear feedback as to interested offers, as well as comments on how off-reality the above valuation might be.

Finally here's a few photos. What a bear going from 7.2Mpixel to 48.8k image data size.

I've got gobs more in full rez for those who want it. Oh by the way the Recaro drivers seat would not be part of the deal. The stock toyota leather seat will go back in. If for some reason anyone sent e-mails to my old e-mail addr in the profile - you'll need to resend to the update e-mail. I didn't realize how old my original information was. It's update now. My apologies if that impacted anyone.

I haven't checked, but guessing that the CAN$ is probably higher valued now than the US$...

But if by deliver you mean load onto a truck you've arranged for transport - uh sure. Me driving it there would be a significant premium upcharge, and you still wouldn't get the Recaro..
