V6 with Oil in the cylinders

You guys helped me great last time- Here we go again.
New Heads installed by moi and rebuilt by reputable machine shop. Oh it ran great for 1000 miles now Its blowing oil out the spark plugs and runs like KaKA. I have black sooty smoke. I'm getting no lights on the dash or error codes. The tech said the compression is great all the way round. So before I pull the heads again and bitch at the machine shop what else could it be? someone said PCV gasket? I siphoned out 2 gallons of gas and it is a clear pinkish so I didnt pump diesel in it....would it even run if i mixed gas? What else can I check?

It should run with some diesel in it, but be hard to start, depending on how much you put. If you filled it with diesel you should have noticed it almost immediately. When you did the conpression check, were all the plugs the same color? I'm thinking valve seal. If the spark plugs were tight, how did the oil get past them?

Are you sure it is oil coming out the plug holes and not gas? Black smoke is to much fuel in the cylinders or not enough air.

rich monster

Really I have no idea how oil is in the small grove at the top of the plugs. Master Tech said its being blown out. Yes its running rich I pulled the plugs (2 ) all sooty but not too oily, guess I should RnR them all. It runs like on 4 or 5 but starts well and is drivable ( like to the junk yard ). There is no oil on the new heads, its crystal clean all round.
I hate to think stem seals - read about not using syn oil on rebuilds, should I RNR oil and plugs and see if its running rich still.

so sad
