What do you think?? Looking for something for the rear of my 86 4Runner. Yes I am aware of marlin and all pro. Any other options???

 

I talked to one of the guys there about it when they first came out, but I didn't really like the fact that it dosen't come with shackle mounts, or a reciever hitch. This normally wouldn't be a big deal (just weld 'em on) but downey powdercaots them so you'd have to strip it down to weld them on... kinda a waste. I've got a MC-300 (Marlin) and it has both feature mentioned. plus it has a wrap around design to allow for more jacking versitility.

So to recap, the downey is nice if all you wanna have back there is a liscnce plate (which wouldn't even happen on a 4runner), but for about the same price you could get one with more versitlity.

Also I think Warn makes one, plus I've seen a few that incorporate a rear oversizeed-tire carrier (kinda like on jeeps)... don't know who makes those

im actually running the prerunner rear bumper and i love it
ive got mine on the 1995 horunner and i think it really looks sweet
the guy before who commented on the fact that it doesnt have the hitch and schackels i understand his point but mine has BOTH so im lovin it
and the dinomd plate step options is beautiful
i got mine for a really good deal but to each there own good luck man
