WANTED:Swing away spare tire carrier!!!
I am currently looking for a factory swing away tire carrier that IS IN GOOD SHAPE and fits a 2nd GEN 95 4runner. I need the carrier AND all pieces w/ hardware.

Do/did you have one on your 95? I might be mistaken, but I think there are extra reinforcements on the rear of the trucks that came with them. Retrofitting might be an issue.

He will need the interior reinforcement parts as well as a new tail gate with the latch mechanism attached.
Could probably fab some sort of reinforcement and mod the tailgate, but I think the best bet would be a entire factory setup... if one can be located.

The tailgate is obviously different. I was wondering about the reinforcements inside the rear corner.
Guess your best bet is to find a Runner with a smoked front end and try to salvage the back door/latch/carrier.
