Teraflex revolver shackles

does anyone have these or heard anything about them? im looking at getting some, but does anyone know if they add any lift? thanks for any help.

Well, most people don't like them for one reason, which is they unload unexpectedly when going down steep hills. On a 4runner, it is less likely, but many jeeps have been endoed from that phenomenon.

I'd look at regular long shackles. They will give you lift without the unexpected issues.

Those shackles are designed to increase flex. Your truck isn't going to be a ramp champ even if you got those, stick with something that will give you flex, but not at the expense of safety.

yea i think i will go with some regular shackles. i was just looking at those from the aspect of more flex.

x2 on what AxleIke said

Plus, they are for showoff only as there is no real force pushing down on the axle, the revolver just unloads and lets it droop out for photo ops.

Xtreme4x4 put them on their "Cheap Jeep" project - catch an episode and you can see exactly how they "work"
