U-bolt flip kit? Do you have to buy the kit?
I know some companies sell the rear U-flip kits. Do you need to buy that? Can t you just...flip the ubolts without buying the kit. I must be missing something

Ok, so no, just go back to the drawing board. If you flip the bolts, what is holding the springs to the axle? you need a thick plate (3/16ths +) to keep them from moving with the springs, and new lower shock mounts.

Well you could always get new long u-bolts and make your own plates. I got my u-bolt flip kits when TG had them on sale for $35 each. And they were the ones with the 1/2" thick plates.

hmm...true true lol. Guess i'll just wait till i get my welder. Probably order the marlin crawler ubolt flips and his shock mounts. Im gonna weld the bottom shock mounts to the top of the axle, and for the top mount...use a F-150 shockl mount welded to the top of the round X-member. I picked that shock mount because its 3 inches high (i cna use a longer shock)
