I am going nuts dealing with Toyota on this. Right now it is double top secret how to activate the DRL's. Here is what I do know. You can purchase the DRL relay from the dealer and replace your non DRL relay but that alone will not turn on the DRL's. The opposite does work, replace the DRL relay with the non DRL and the lights will go off. The dealer also checked the ECU and there is nothing there to turn them on and Toyota Corporate told them they can't divulge how to turn them on as then people would not buy the factory option. Ridiculous. The relay alone is 50.00 and the option is a 40.00 add on. I know someone can figure this out. Thanks.

Yea but the 2007 is different. They have now removed DRL, and made it an add-on option.

 

yeah, i'm looking for the same info on my 06 taco...which should be a similar process...
