Which Brembo rotors - 2 options on autopartswarehouse

autopartswarehouse has two styles of Brembo rotors, for 16" wheels, it looks like the second item down (sku 25488) is the one I need, and the one recommended on the Brembo website. Does anyone know the difference with the one at the bottom of the page? Perhaps the material as the color is different. I could not find this one on the Brembo site.

If you provide the link, people are more apt to help. Don't make them do the legwork.

it looks like you need this one

Brembo Front Brake Disc 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner
w/ 16" Wheels

W0133-1618068
1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner
* 2000: 3.4LV6

your 4runner did come with factory 16 inch rims correct? if so then that is the part number.

Sorry, I didn't know if it was kosher to link to a vendor's website. Here it is:

Yes, 16" oem's. I think that one should fit, but, couldn't tell the difference with the one above, using the general assumption that if it cost more it has some type of improvement over the other rotor. As I mentioned earlier, the Brembo website lists the 25488 item as my replacement, so I didn't know if the more expensive one is better or what advantages it may have.

well read what it says

1985-2002 Toyota 4Runner

* 2000: 4Cyl 2.7L 3RZFE 2WD, EXCLUDES WITH 16" STOCK WHEELS OR LUXURY EDITION
* 2000: 6Cyl 3.4L 5VZFE 2WD, EXCLUDES WITH 16" STOCK WHEELS OR LUXURY EDITION
there wont be any advantage, unless you count them fitting as one. W0133-1618068 are the ones you need with factory 16' OEM rims.

Gee, you really consider fitting an advantage? I specifically mentionsed sku 25488 (the one that fits!) to avoid confusion and smarta$$ answers, and if you read my post, the one Brembo's website lists as the replacement You're looking at item sku 25513.

What i see is the 25513 is for 15 inch rims and the 25488 is for 16 inch rims.

edit: i know what your saying, but tirerack.com has only two rotors one for 15 and 16, i hate part websites like autowarehouse. wouldn't they list the advantages of the rotor if they really wanted to sell it to you?

i apologize for my smart blank comments i was just kidding around. i found this website and it only list two rotors for 4runners, i wonder why autowarehouse list 4?

plus tire rack is slightly cheaper!

I got mine from tirerack.com. Their service is impeccable AND THEY ARE CHEAPER than the page you posted.

I probably overreacted myself, so I apologize to you as well. I have looked at tirerack and that's why I'm not sure about the more expensive one at autopartswarehouse since there is no description and I can't find it on the Brembo website. I guess the safe thing to do is get the cheaper one. You're right about them being listed cheaper at tirerack, but, if you get them at autopartswarehouse, there is a $10 off coupon it automatically applied for me, and free shipping. I think it saved a little over $20 if anyone else is interested. So in essence, if the more expensive ones are significantly better, I could get them for almost the same price as the others on tirerack. If the difference is minimal, I'll just save a few $$$'s, which is always good!

Well keep us updated on which part you get and how it fits and if you notice any braking power, i want to buy brembo rotors in the future, if you got a 10 off coupon and free shipping id do that deal. good luck casey.
