Hey whats up guys, just doing a little research and i cant find the answer. Im wondering what the stock REAR ride height is for the 2nd gen 4 runners from the top of the rim to the bottom of the fender lip. I know the front is 13.5/14 from the factory, im wondering because I always thought my truck had the saggy but syndrome, but after reading a thread i found while digging i relized my bars are cranked just a hair shy of 15 or it is 15` which seems to be perfect for the front and isnt recomended to exceed. So whats the stock measurement for the rear? because i have 2` coil spacers coming and im just wondering how much the back is going to pick up. if its going to level it to stock or lift it, because if my truck IS sagging i wouldnt imagine it would be more than .75. thanks for the help in advance and i hope this isnt confusing

 

This is how the truck sits right now with the front at 15 and the rear the way it is btw if it helps its also on 33x12.5 a/t's no they dont rub what-so-ever even when flexed out. in the pics it doenst really appear to sag, but like i said if it IS sagging then its very minimal and whoever at some point did crank the bars an inch so the front is sitting higher than stock

 

wierd. I have 1.5" spacers in rear and am at 13.75" from rim tip to fender, on a 15" rim

before i was 12.25"

nope my trucks stock besides the 1` torsion crank which i didnt do in the first place, the truck came from an old lady to and im the 2nd owner so i dont know why someone would have cranked it an inch because everything ive found for the front is 13.5/14 from the factory for the front and im at 15. my rear is around 13.5

as for the body lift it probley looks like it because i dont run a lower valance because it was cracked for one and i dont like the way it looks, and i also dont run a rear bumper but i dont have any action pics, i have had the truck fully flexed out though and the wheels stuff and fit right up int he wheel wells with no rub issues of any sort at all

the only thing i can think of is you were at 12.25 is at some point my rear coils were replaced by the lady and they are sagging aftermarket lift coils? and they had to level it out and they cranked the bars 1`? like i said its BARELY sagging, .75 maybe if that im just wondering what stock rear ride height is so i can get an idea of where these 2` spacers i got are going to put me around

 

just incase there is no info on stock rear ride height can someone measure there non sagging rear from the top of the rim to bottom of the fender when they get a chance.

and n16 did the 1.5 spacers end up just leveling your backend out from the 12.25 sag or did it end up lifting it at all? that seems awfully low

 

it looks level to me I know with the 1st gens the front wheel well sits about 2 inches higher then the rear and that is with the truck sitting level.

measure from a body line or the bottom of the rocker panel up and see if the front is higher then the rear.

 

well i just installed 2 inch lift spacers on top of my saggy springs in the rear and 1.5 bj spacers up front,
my rear from rim to fender is 12 3/4 inch and front is 15 on the nose. dono if that helps at all but i would say u got a 2 1/2 inch lift spring in the rear or something of the sort.

 

hmm i dont know why an old lady would lift a truck hahaha. the measurements are off a little from rocker to floor front and back, i understand that the wheel wells arent symetrical, i think that the coils have just been replaced at some point with hd coils of some sort in the rear and whoever installed them cranked the t bars 1` to compinsate for leveling, and now the rears sagging a tad from when it was done however long ago, i kind of wish i knew all this before i bought the spacers that im going to put in but w/e i guess i'll have to order bj spacers now 2, thanks for all the input guys

 

Just from past experience I think I would opt to replace the springs before I did the lift , weak springs hurt ride in all conditions and would do that first and then lift from there

 

haha that has nothing to do with the discussion but i do agree with you, the spacers are a hold over until after xmas
