Look on ebay or LC Engineering for a "insulating" intake manifold gasket - it's made out of a plastic composite and won't get crapped due to water - totally reusable. They sell it as something to increase HP (lower intake manifold temp) - but it's really no good for that purpose.. great for boosted trucks though.

They are not different. The port setup on both manifolds is the same.
$42 is ridiculous to spend on that gasket.

A basic paper gasket will work - and if NAPA is charging you $42, I'll send you one for $15 as I've got about 3 sitting in the garage. I replaced my paper gasket as my manifold got a little loose after the rebuild and heat cycling - the radiator fluid actually degraded the gasket quite a bit.'
10+ psi through wasted paper gasket isn't good..

Is that supposed to lessen temp transfer also , is that one of the reasons it is teflon ?

That's what the advertisement says. I seriously doubt if there is any difference at all.. Insulation prevents slows the rate of heat transfer, after a certain amount of time that heat is coming over to the manifold anyway...

It's good as a reusable gasket though!

Cool , was just curious , I would imagine it would also flex a bit more and would not get hard as a rock and maybe be a bit more leak resistant
