HANKOOK RT03 or Cooper Discoverer STT

Hey guys its time for some new tires and these are the two that i have narrowed it down to. I have heard great things about both but i'm lookin for info mostly on tread life and what you liked/disliked about either tire. Thanks again

I don't have any personall experience with the Hankook's - though they do look like a good tread desgin, and overall a good tire.

The Cooper's are impressive, and I have a few customers who love them. Not loud on the street, and the tread desgin was well thought out. For the price I might look at some other tires first though...

I had a set of the coopers on a '02 Grand Cherokee and they were a tough little tire, too bad I didn't have that ride very long to see where they really shined though.

I haven't tried the RT03s yet but I have a set of RT01s that I absolutely love. ~60,000 km so far at about 40% left. They are quiet on the street and great off road as well. The only downside is that they don't make them larger then a 33. Nice to see that the RT03 come in a 35. If the compound is the same I think that you will be happy with the RT03s.

I think that either tire would be a good good choice for a DD/weekend warrior pick.

I've had alot of good luck with Cooper tires in general. I don't have any experience with that particular tire but I think Coopers are top notch.

I have the coopers stt on my 86 4runner and love them. I would not have any other tires and I run a tire shop. And they are american made , cant hurt in this economy.
