Please tell me this fits my truck

Will this light fit my truck? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...link:middle:us

It's the best price I've been able to find anywhere. It says 84-86 though and my truck is an '89. I didn't know there was a difference? Otherwise I'll have to go with these and spend more $$$: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CORNE...QQcmdZViewItem

the 84-86 dont quite fit right.

But you are looking for low quality aftermarket, so it wont really matter nothing is going to fit quite right. Might as well stay cheap and buy that one.

im pretty sure they are exactly the same. If you have any doubts you can always just call toyota and ask if the part numbers from the 84-86 and the 87-89s match

What would the difference be? Are the lens different? or where they bolt on?

There are technically 8 part numbers.

84-86 Chrome w/socket and wire
84-86 Chrome w/o socket and wire
84-86 Black w/ socket and wire
84-86 Black w/o socket and wire
87-88(9) Chrome w/ socket and wire
87-88(9) Chrome w/o socket and wire
87-88(9) painted w/ socket and wire
87-88(9) painted w/o socket and wire

I do not have the specific part numbers, but Toyotapartsales.com confirms this info.

i tried that one off a parts 4 runner i had and the plug is different for sure. i already had it mounted when i noticed the plug would not fit. i didn't want to splice it, so i bought the right one.

Ive been searching for clear corners for my 89 4runner and alot of sites seem to say there is a differance between 2WD and 4WD for 1st gen toyotas. I dont know what the differance is though.

Thanks guys for all the help! I'm not the most mechanically skilled, so I paid an extra $3.00 and got this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWN:IT&ih=014 It should have the right socket.
