Quick Easy DIY tail and blinker lens clean up

I was looking at how crappy my tail lights looked today so I resorted to an old ricer trick for bringing back the life to those old plastic lens covers. Easiest DIY ever. Just take out the Nevrdull and clean away. Buff with a soft rag and they look almost new. Had the camera on hand so I will kill some band width with pics......

Intriguing, I would have never thought to use metal polish on plastic.. HMMM

on a side note, I was at advanced today and they sell a kit to clear up your foggy headlights - I bet that stuff would do wonders on these plastic lenses as well.
