Spare tire rim..you decide!

Ok today blake's cbi tire carrier should be en route. I'm putting a 305 mtr on it but i can't decide what rim to use. Both are 16x7s but its either going to be the oem spare rim (black) or my 3 spoke if i can manage it. Lee did the same thing with his oem spare rim and it looks badass in my opinion, if you haven't seen the pic with it and his custom bumper i highly suggest you check it out.....wait... here's a pic

talked to him and what he did was sand down the iffy spots, primed and triple coated it with semi flat black...which is the same route i'll be going if i decide that rim. option 2, like i said, would be one of the 3 spokes i have on right now. the enkei rim that blake was running on the back looks almost identical to the split 3 spokes, so if you read this maybe you can get a direct view of that. anyways, this is a pretty pointless thread, but like i always say, it's everybody's voice that gets me doing the stuff i do anyways so i wanted you guys to chime in again to help me decide, thanks!

That's Lee's 4Runner...as far as who made it, dunno. There was a write up around here somewhere.

EDIT:
Here's that write up on Lee's bumper build: Write Up

I voted black before I ready what you were doing . (Thought you meant sticking the spare underneath.) Thus, I change my vote to oem alum.

Black if you running black rims, but oem alum spoke if you are running those. IMO if your spare shows (as the above does), it should match all your other wheels.

I tried to find a picture no luck, but I saw a set of the OEM 3 Spokes on another forum that had been painted black using Duplicolor's black wheel coating. the OP said that good surface prep was the key..IMO it looked better black than the silver...

CBI offroad makes some good stuff...
