locking differentials for a 1996 2WD Toyota 4Runner

I have been blessed with a 1996 2WD Toyota 4Runner, automatic transmission (maybe not!). I have read many of the threads on yotatech.com discussing the different types of locking differentials. There are LSDs, manual locking hubs, and so on. Now my question is, are there any rear locking differentials that I can obtain/purchase to install on my 2WD 4Runner that are within a reasonable budget for the average joe? What may be my other options to regain more traction when off-roading? What websites may be helpful?

manual locking hubs has to do with locking cvs in the front to the hub without having auto hubs, nothing to do with lockers

lockers for a 2wd are the same for a 4wd rear end. same exact rear, only difference between a 2wd and 4wd of course is the tranny,

haha you didn't really help him with his question.

You could do what the poster above did and install a lockright locker or known as lunchbox lockers, I also just went in that direction and picked up a lockright. Cheap around $200 or so.
