Hi all, I just bought my first yota and It has plenty of rust issues that need to be worked out. I can't pass DE emissions due to failing the pressure test, which is they stick a pressurized hose in your tank and see if you fuel system is leaking air. Well the shop I took it to said its leaking out of the fuel tank filler right where it joins up with the tank. Personally I just want to pass so I can get the title in my name and enjoy driving it. What I was thinking of doing is putting a ton of bathroom sealant or something like that at the base and hoping it will pass. The other option is doing it right and getting the peices but I don't have a ton of money and was hoping people might know where I could get cheaper replacement feul tank filler, and gas tank then through toyota. My truck is an 89 4wd 22re pickup, and toyota wanted 455 for the tank and 175 for the filler and all hoses and gaskets.
