basically i want to replace my antenna with a fixed mast antenna on my runner. Problem is i cant see where its routed from thru the fender and back thru the dash. When i get my new antenna i will need to route this back thru to the head unit and will i be able to do this without taking apart the whole dashboard?? is there any simple way to do this?? ive searched but didnt come up with much.

Oh yeah. You don't have to take your dash apart. I am in the process of replacing my antenna in my 2nd Gen also. Take off the passenger side kick panel, and also the inner fender on the passenger front tire. Now you have as good a vantage as ever to take the old one off, and put the new one on.

 

yeah thats what ive done so far, but the idiot cut the cable when he put a new one on. So.... i have to yank the whole cable out from the head unit back. i just dont know where the heck it goes once it goes thru the inner fender.
