Afternoon Project: IFS truss

So a few hours and a couple dollars in steel I have a nice IFS truss. Super simple to make, hardest part was getting a drill bit long enough to go all the way through the cross member. Here's the pics:

That's sweet...a simple mod. I plan on doing the same once I get better at welding...

Good job. Fit looks perfect.

The design seems a little derivative(see sig).

What I'd like to see is some homemade BJ spacers. Heard of 'em, just ain't seen 'em. I got a rough idea...

Funny you say home made BJ spacers, I also made some. 10mins in CAM programs, 10mins on the mill, $15 in alum and I have 2 BJ spacers. Never bothered to take any pics as they look identical to every other BJ spacer.
