Lift Questions

Hello, just so everyone knows i have searched high and low for a thread that covers the same topic i am dealing with. So i hope if i am beating the dead horse it's at least a different horse...

I have a 98 4runner sr5 and have a buddy with an 05 tundra with 12000 miles on it. He said he would sell me his TRD Suspension. Would the Tundra Coils and Bilstein shock combo work for both the front and the rear of the 4runner? Also does anyone know what this combo might be worth if i purchased it? Thanks for the Help!

There's a million threads on lifts. Including the Tundra/OME lift. This is what alot of people have used to lift the 3rd gen 4runners. You can search and find all kinds of options to go with it. Sonoran steel has alot of info as far as what the Tundra /OME lift consists of "check out #7" . I think you pretty much have to stick with the 3rd gen front strut/shock setup. But "yes" you can use the Tundra TRD coils. Make sure it's something you want before you decide. This lift changes the ride considerably and your choice of shocks will make the stiffness even more noticable.
