ARB bumpers and body lifts ??

Does anyone here have more than 1" of body lift and an ARB bumper. I want to go 2" but wondering if ARB has made a kit to adjust the mounting brackets. I have the ability to fab something up if not.. Anyone out there who can help?

Whaddya have in mind for changing the ARB? The top mount wraps right around the crossmember so you'd have to do major mods to lift the ARB to match the B/L.

2inch BL w/ stock mounting points. You have to get brackets fabbed up, but I really dont think it looks bad at all. Im eventually gonna get some fabbed up (quoted $50 for a set), but Im in no hurry.

Poboy thanks. I don't think it'll be a prob getting brackets fabbed up. 2" BL and 33's are coming shortly after I get my truck back to the states. Anyone looking for some 31X10.5 BFG AT's with only 10K on them?

Here's mine.

This is an old picture before 33" BFG M/T tires and I added a Warn M8000 winch. Gap is not that bad but it is noticeable.

Yes, and it was that picture that inspired my wallet to open up and empty itself to get my ARB

Always nice to see pics of your rig Leo.

There's another post on ARB's in the 4runner section - But, here is mine after I just couldn't live with that 2" body lift gap between the ARB Bumper.

It really was not that large of a process. ARB should really consider making them to compensate body lifts.... Oh well. All is well and I love this bumper!

Hey WildYoats I'd like to know what you had to do to fit that.

I have an IFS ARB that i'd like to mod to fit my SAS and I'm not sure how to go about it.

I found one site that talks about this but any additional info from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Warren
