It's really not that complicated ... just do what you got to do to clear the tire!

How? remove the plastic liner, you will see the pinchweld behind it. Beat the crap out of it.

How much? Until it's flat or the tire clears. Careful on the passenger side because the ECU is right there.

Note: for best effect, you may need to trim the lower outside corner of the plastic liner off.

BFH if you are NOT tubbing" it.

Sawzall of the pinch weld ONLY if you never see water.
Otherwise rust city and wet floor boards.

If you were tubbing it you woudl already know what to do...

Pull the inner liner
take a look at the seam that stick out.
Hammer flat

There are NUMBEROUS writeout out there - see 4x4wire or pirate4x4

well, BFH prevailed again! i did woke up few neighbors a little bit earlier then they wanted to, but i sure did have fun. a BFH got the pinch weld done and box cutter took care of the trimming of the plastic liner.

I uesd a whiz wheel to do mine for my 35's and trimmed down the area from the bottom to about half way up the front and have zero problems now.

Its very easy and only took about 5 mins to do both sides , take the whiz wheel about 1/4 inch from the rear side of the tire of towards the door and cut the pinch weld at a angle and just continue forward around the bottom and up the fender well about 1-1 1/2" up and angle it to look good then move on to the other side and thats it.

Also almost forgot to say pull your plastic fender saver things out of the way and when your done they will fit just like new again.
