I was just curious to know if anyone knows of someone who has swapped a toyota 3.4L engine and matching tranny (either an auto or manual) into a '70 or so model FJ 40? If it can be done, what kind of modifications must be done to make them both fit properly? Has anyone heard of this mod being done to an FJ before?

Anyway, just thought this would be a cool idea. Bringing the past and present together with an upgraded engine and tranny all while keeping the classic styling.
