3rz performance

Trying to learn more about the differences in the cal-spec 3rz and the non cal-spec. All I know now is the intake cam and the ecu programs is different.
Looking to try LC engineerings cam kit and just purchased an xt piggyback controller. Anyone know any other good mods to increase towing capacity?

Exhaust and header will probably give you the biggest gain or depending on your tire size, regearing.
