Anyone had this problem before?? I wanna know what you paid to have it repaired. It sounds like pinging but it's the timin chain hitting the chain cover. I was told it can wear thru and cause coolant to leak into the oil but I have to drive it for a few more days B4 I can get it fixed. They quoted me $700 cause they can do it w/o removing the head. Is this OK?
