Could it be #4 valves?
Well I fired up the beast
this morning to head to work and she was making like a tick noise, only does it really when I rev. Did it all the way to work, and the way home.. I figured valves, my dad thought so too so we used a screwdriver as a redneck engineered stethoscope
.. Sounded more... clanky at #4 I suppose would be the best accurate description, than the rest.
So, what do ya think?

Could be the valves seeing how you just did a HG. Maybe you didn't get one adjusted just right... I've had to go back in twice since I did my HG. Were you able to hear if was more on the exhaust side or intake side of #4?
I suggest you get a good set of go-no-go feeler gauges, they make it soooo much easier if you decide to re-adjust.
