I live in Ohio where there is no emissions control. I am rebuilding my engine, a 22re nonturbo, and am clueless about how this system works. In the past I have just left it and hoped it worked fine. Now for the rebuild is there any advice on how or what to do with it. Are there things I should leave alone? Replace? Remove and not put back on cause I dont need it?

 

Search EGR. It's been covered a million times.
