Yup another A340H has bit the dust and I'm looking for parts to complete a 5sp swap. The parts I'm looking for are:

88-91 tranny and tcase from 4runner or truck (R150F w/VF1A case) Please no units from 92-95 as they don't have mechanical speedo's. I'm looking for as complete a unit as possible including shift levers, boots, knobs, reverse light and ADD plugs, clutch release fork and boot, etc. I will need to know the mileage and what vehicle it came from. PM pics if possible.

Clutch pedal assy (88-95 4runner or truck)

Clutch start cancel switch

Plastic shifter console w/ leatherette boots

This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of what the swap will require, rather these are just the parts I have yet to acquire.

I'm located in Boulder, CO and the swap is being done on a 1990 4runner 3.0 auto 4x4.

Yeah I still got the A340H, its still in the truck. Its my dd. Reverse is starting to go, can feel it slipping when you get on the gas (in H2, H4, and L4).

 

hmmm okay ill check it out tomorrow evening when im up town. its at my inlaws. it had 152+ on it when it was pulled the truck was rolled. it was out of a reg cab 4x4 v6. I bought it for a manual swap that i never did. it will need the 4wd sensors. we might beable to work a partial trade for your A340H. Im looking for another to rebuild so i dont have the down time.

 

I'm a little confused about which "4wd sensors" it will need.

I was under the impression there was only one sensor, the transfer indicator switch, upper left corner of TF-32:
