Can anyone tell what might be leaking from this tranny pic?

I pulled the tranny out of m 1991 4Runner 3.0L 4x4 5 Speed to R&R the clutch. While out I am trying to find the leak that has soiled the case as seen in the pic as well as an occasional spot in the driveway. The Motor is dry, RMS is dry, no apparent leaking from the motor and the underside of the center driveline hump is clean as well. Just wondering if anyone can tell what might have leaked onto the tranny? Is this a common leak pattern? (DISREGARD ANY WETNESS IN THE STAIN THOUGH, AS I STARTED TO SPRAY CLEANER ON IT AND THEN THOUGHT TO TAKE THE PICTURES, the stain was dusty and dirty, like grime stuck to an old spill perhaps?)

There are two what appear to be capped vents right at both the shift selector and T-case selector ports, could these splash an occasional drop or two of gear lube out?

Thanks,
biGjOhn

I would say the seal between the trans and t-case or the front output of the t-case.

It might have been overfilled and letting some out of the vents and shifters. That's what the pattern looks like to me.
