87 4x4 Turbo pickup
You want this pickup!
Good
141xxx miles all original
Standard cab, short bed
5 speed shifts good
4x4 works great
Split bench seat
manual locks/windows/hubs
Black ext/grey int. Previous owner had it repainted (black was the original color).
Some very minor surface rust on body. All panels are in good shape but couold use a little touch up from use, since ya know, its a truck.
Nice aftermarket stereo system with infinity speakers and external 4 channel amp. Sounds really nice, not to bass heavy, just real tight.
Newer carpet
Turbo rebuilt at 95k
I Recently had the front bearings repacked, a bunch of new gaskets on the motor and all new belts. Doesn't leak a drop of fluid.
Passes emissions easily, usually fast pass unless the dingle berry that operates it on the rollers doesn't know how to drive.
Not so good:
Minor rust spots on the original bumpers. (Who wants those anyway?)
The plastic end on the factory front bumper is broken on the passenger side.
The driver side lip of the bed is slightly bent because the camper was blown off in high winds. There's plenty of scratches from that event.
There is a squeaking sound coming from the rear drive train. This is very new and hasn't been driven much since it developed. I haven't troubleshoot it, I don't think its a big deal though. I just drove the truck now and it didn't do it at all.. *shrug*
Has AC but it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure the compressor is messed up because when the belt was installed it was noisy. The belt has been removed.
All in all this is a great truck. Aside from the stereo its still totally stock, great for a daily driver/spare or a project. I love this truck. It saved the lives of myself and several other people/children last years snow storm. I hate to let it go but it's ready for a new home.
Plus, the factory turbo's are hard to come buy in good shape, and this is a good one. I know someone here wants it.
Truck is in Denver. I'm asking $3500 for it. I have it for 3800obo on Craigslist.
I will post pictures as soon as I get a chance!

Finally some pics! Now I'm motivated..
The 4Runner is kicking butt, so I'm much more motivated to sell the truck and finally got around to taking few pictures. Sorry for the lame quality. Couldn't find a good camera so I just used my phone. I'd like to move it quickly. I'll make YTers a good deal!

Yeah, totally. I have taken it on several 1000+ mile trips with zero problems. Just make sure you let the turbo cool off before you shut her down after a long highway run and change the oil often and the truck will get you another 100,000.

any chance you have some better pics? also, I'm in Central Iowa, any way if I did move on it we could arrange a meeting someplace in Nebraska?

I'll grab some more pictures.. I dunno, I'd consider it if you would pay for gas for two cars there and one car back to Denver. Honestly it would probably be cheaper for you to buy a one way ticket. Fly in drive out.
