I've finally got my LONG awaited FJ. I've been looking at them since they came out. I had a 95 4Runner, set up almost identical to Corey's. I loved it, but couldnt take the lack of power any longer. The kicker was pulling a 4000+ lbs trailer, trying to run the AC in 100* weather on a 4 hour drive to a camp spot in the woods... That trip suxd.

Anyways, went into the dealer on monday to buy a set of plug wires for my Camry and 3hrs later I had signed the papers for the FJ. I can't wait to start modding it.

Corey, you have great taste! I built my 4Runner up looking almost like yours and I can see your FJ has all the goodies I want to add.

What color and options did you go with?

 

Thanks... I'll take some soon. I wanted the Fusion Yellow or Silver but wouldve had to wait for it to be shipped in, no one in the STL area had one with the options i wanted. Plus the dealership was giving $2500 off any on the lot. The only one fully loaded with upgrade package #1, rear locker, sliderz, roof rack, tow package, and trd exhaust was a voodoo blue. It wasnt my first choice on color, but the $2500 off was a big incentive. I think they are making room for the 08's. I've been watching these for a while and they seem to sell for full msrp with no discounts.

 

Here are some photos I took this morning after I washed and waxed it. A couple of lame ones flexing on a hill in my yard... had to try out the ATRAC. I havent stopped grinning since I picked it up Friday night. Let the mods begin!
