Toyota Add-A-Leaf

I just bought a 2 inch lift add a leaf for the fornt of my 85 pickup and i was woundering if i need new u-bolts. Will I or Not. Thanks

i put a 3 inch under the rear of my 90 and I reused the stock U bolts minus the bump stops though.

Easy to check. Measure the length of thread sticking out past the nuts on all the u-bolts. Then measure the thickness of the add-a-leaf. If that thickness is less than the shortest u-bolt thread, you are good to go, if not, get new ones. Also check the condition fo the threads while under there. If any are badly messed up, you may need to replace that u-bolt.
