I agree that the prices are high, but if you dig around on the site there is a video of a guy smacking one of the 1/4 panels with a claw hammer. It barely even gets scratched. The way that I plan on driving in the woods. I could really use a strong panel like that. Plus NO RUST! Did I mention NO RUST!

i live in washington and rust aint to bad of a problem. i still prefer metal because fiberglass just breaks metal bends and can be pounded back, a tree compared to a claw hammer is a huge difference.

many many customers tell us that we sell to cheep , and our waiting list of ~ 8 months (usually 1 year) , tells us the same .

oh and resins are an oil "product" like fuel .. our costs have gone up 150% in the last 2 years .. but our prices sure havent .

hmm well how about the 2LB , or the Sledge .. or better yet , how about driving over it with a truck ??? all can be seen on the site .. and and a comparison to the metal is also there , but the metal didnt get past the 2lb .

 

Soon as you put up pictures of the damage after hitting a deer at 60mph, compared to metal 1/4's, I'll be sold. I've seen the damage to metal panels first hand numerous times... Though I guess it'd help if I swerve AWAY from the deer. Then again, thats why god invented the deer slayer front bumper replacements... They look great, but I just caint justify spendin that much money if I'm just gonna batter it up in a month or two anyways. I'd just as soon stay with my already beat up body.

over 3G damage to the ford . I replaced my bumper , tailgate is busted , but it still works .

 

Damn, radiator slayer in the rear and a Pennsylvania style deer ticking front slayer. Can anyone say roadkill venison faster than a good ol' PA boy has that s#!t loaded in the back of the truck? i dont think so.

BTW, nice oil "leak" (more like a trickle if you ask me). What seal(s) are bad on that buggy?

 

That picture was before I fixed a hole in the timing cover cause from hittin a deer. Caint really tell that much from the picture, but the deer's head bashed in my skid plate and somehow put a hole in the timing cover. Took that picture to show the damage to the deer slayer. Happy to say none!

And sure it's sheet metal. 1/2" heat treated carbonized steel "sheet-metal". It DID come in a 4'x10' sheet before it was cut out on the plasma CNC machine

It's fixed now, happened like a year ago, but now I just run w/o a skid plate.

 

I wish I had the dough to get a fiberglass bed!
