Rear bumpers

Does a 1987 pickup rear bumper fit the 94 model pickup?

My guess would be yes. The Smittybilt tube bumper (the TB80 one) fits all trucks from 1979 to 1995, I think they are all basically the same. Whether or not the bumper shape is the same, I dunno. I had the cheap chrome one on my truck and it sort of followed the shape of the valance, so it might not follow the curve of the first and second gen bed the same and could rub. But the bolt holes are the same AFAIK.

Like Dave said, the holes are the same. If your pulling an OEM bumper, i am not certain. I found a mint bumper from an 87 as well, but the bumper on those wrapped around the bed a little.

It may work, but i wasnt going to buy it if it wouldnt work for me, so i am not certain about the fitment. Best thing you can do is try the fit and see if it will work for you. Let us know how you make out.
