22r with 20r head questions

I was told this worked but never have seen it finished. My dad had one he was building but it never turned over and it was parted out. I found the head from his motor and was thinking i need more power and a headgasket/chains so maybe i use it? I have a webber carb and a downey header and plan on a cam and boring the bottomend out.

What do i need to knwo about the swap and what parts will i need to get for the build other then gaskets for intake and carb stuff?

What gains will i see and what problems should i be aware of?

Thanks
Russell

To the best of my knowledge the 20r head will bolt up to the early 22r series blocks. There may be intake side changes necessary as the intake ports are different.. A little more reading:
