Balljoint spacer and wheel spacing

I'm running some chevy 16" rims and I currently need a 1/4" wheel spacer in the front to clear steering and barely clear as it is.

If I install the bj spacers, sounds like I am definately going to need a wider wheel spacer. Does that sound right?

thanks,

Yes you do. You should get a 3/4" -1" spacer and that should be okay.
I will let somone else chime in...

I definitely needed a wheel spacer. Looks like 1" spacer would have done it, but I had a 1.5" spacer already.

Strangely enough, The instructions say to place some metal under the upper a-arm to keep it lifted a bit. I could not get everything back together like that. I removed the stuff I jammed in there and I easily got my balljoint into the spacer.
