Small plate on rear leaf springs??

There is a small plate on top of the stock rear leaf springs that the bump stop sits on... should i reuse them or no?

Another question... should I run hydro or pressurized shocks??

I have cheapy hydro's but I don't drive my truck except to the trail. For slow speed stuff shocks are unnecessary anyway. I just have them for on road driving to the trail. If you DD your rig I hear the gas shocks like Bilstien ride better.

The little plate doesn't matter at all. You can put the bump stop back on top of the springs without it and it will work just fine. I think it's just there to provide a little more clearance between the bottom of the bump stop and the center bolt in the springs.
