not Tacoma from Toyota, but from WA

I'm in Tacoma, WA visiting family. It's amazing to see all the potential offroad terrain, too bad i dont have my rig.

All of the trucks out here are SFA. It's so beautiful to see all of the awesome Yota's. I miss mine, I wish I had it here to test her out on the terrain.

HAHA i just went to my uncle and i was like "Did we drive through the roundabouts in UP?" I asked him why people laugh about them and he said They were made to control speed and traffic, but people dont know how to drive them.

He was like, "I should drive you thru the ones on Grandview later on..You'll get a kick out of it."

When we were out driving, we were completely stopped at a red light with a motorcycle stopped next to us at the red left turn light. He just decided to go..
I was like "WTF that guy just went thru that light like nothing!" My aunt said that people just drive however they want.

I was blown away at that stupid move the cyclist made. They should change their street signs to "PROCEED ON RED WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT."

ya the roundabouts are weird. in highschool the goal was to see how fast you could get through them with out hitting the curb. i got pretty good and sliding my 89 pontiac sunbird around them.

as for the drivers... stay in the slow lane if you want to go faster then everyone and get used to passing people on the right.

food suggestions:
Frisco (sp?) Freeze - milkshakes are wonderful
The Ram on ruston way.
Anthony's at Point Defiance
Steamers at Titlow
Mama Stortinies in UP. (i am not sure if they are still in business, its been a while since HS and i know they were on the verge of closing)

Things to see / do:
* goto Ruston Way - thats is (was) the place to cruse. lots of people, and hot chicks on rollerblades
* The Glass art museum - very cool place to check out downtown. i've never actully paid to get in, but there is TONS of stuff to look at outside around the building.
* Point Defiance and Owen Beach - lil zoo and fun place to drive through.
* drive the roundabouts in UP.

hit me up on aim or here if you need any more suggestions or have any questions.

We drove through Defiance today, as a matter of fact. There was a racoon just chilling on the side of the road. I stopped, got out and whipped out my camera. I got about 4 feet from it before it started scampering away.

I'd love to chop down one of the guard chains that stop cars from entering the trails, and bring in a Hella lit up trail rig in there at night time just to mosh around.

We were down by Ram today, exactly where you're talking about. The old highschool that looks right over the bay is amazing. I love small towns like this, a lot different from ORANGE COUNTY!
