1993 4runner SR5 3.0 4x4

First things first, my pride and joy recently developed what appears to be a rod bearing knock. It sounds bad, & I don't have the time to deal with it. I am going to get a second opinion (first mech. simply listened and thought it was "something serious")

Otherwise, the truck is great. I bought it from my then GF's father in 2003. Have taken good care of the truck and it has taken care of me. He told me the engine was run dry on a XC trip and a 'new' one was put in around 130K. I never really found out if it was new or just new to the truck, not that it matters now. I also had headgasket at 194K, heads milled, etc. Transmission shifts well. 4 wheel drive works well -- hi/ lo.

Off the top of my head:

180K - Downey HD Coil Springs
Rancho 500 shocks

184K - BFG 285 x 75 R 16 on Tacoma Wheels

194K - Exhaust system from downpipe back. New Cat.New Dynomax muffler.
New radiator, Radiator hoses
New acessory belts.

210K - Brake job
Drilled/ slotted rotors.
Toyota OEM Pads.
Bleed.


Also has:
TJM T-17(I think) winch bumper - missing wings
Stubbs sliders (not in photo)
SuperWinch Manual Hubs


That all I can really think of right now. It has a pioneer CD deck, interior is grey and in good shape (worn on driver's seat), has bed liner on body as seen in photo.

I was ultimately going to make this a trail dedicated rig once I was out of grad school, but seeing as I've got a year left and am in need of a D.D. I was hoping to get one more year outta her. Not lookin likely. I'd like to trade towards a nice pavement pounder 4x4 3rd Gen that looks good. If anyone has the time or inclination to pull the 3.0, I know they'd enjoy it once it was back on the road.
